We are headquartered in Irvine, California and are looking for a Manager, Sales Engineer to join our rapidly growing team of over 250 people. This role has rapid promotion and career development opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage customers at a technical level to help the sales team win deals and achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with sales and customer teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Conduct solution demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops to showcase our capabilities.
- Address customer queries and concerns, providing technical assurance and building credibility.
- Develop and implement pre-sales strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to align offerings with market demand and customer feedback.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Assist in crafting compelling proposals
- Demonstrate leadership both on the sales team and within the company in general
- Design and architect solutions that meet customer needs and align with the company’s offerings.
- Ensure proposed solutions are feasible and can be delivered within budget and timeline constraints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are competitive and cutting-edge.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5+ years of previous development experience.
- 5+ years of Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer.
- Experience with participation in AI projects.
- Experience with technical RFP’s and RFI’s, POCs.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or similar.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP), AI, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Certifications in Cloud platforms is a big plus.3-5+ years of successful quota carrying sales experience in SaaS
- Creativity and technical expertise in developing proposals and solutions across a wide range of platforms.
- Comprehensive combination of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and leadership skills.
- Ability to design innovative solutions that meet diverse client needs and drive business success.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to mentor and grow high-performing teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, enabling the identification and resolution of challenges quickly and efficiently.
