Job Description

The Specialist, BTS Communications, is a team-first contributor with exceptional writing, project management, and interpersonal skills. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of BTS and collaborate daily with a highly creative BTS Communications team that invests in your continuous learning and development.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and execute communications plans for the Commercial Business Technology Solutions organization as a member of the BTS Strategic Communications team
  • Partner with Commercial BTS senior leaders to advance their strategic objectives and reputation through purposeful communications plans, campaigns and employee engagement tactics
  • Develop and deliver targeted employee communications such as leadership messages, newsletters, social content, live and hybrid town halls, special events, and more
  • Manage vendor resources to execute creative projects and ensure brand alignment (e.g., videos, graphics, town halls/events)
  • Manage and curate content for key channels, monitor metrics, seek employee feedback and drive the continuous improvement of communications
  • Track and manage communications plans in project management system Asana
  • Support recognition efforts, such as award submissions from Commercial BTS
  • Pull through key enterprise and EEDI messages from BTS, Corporate and HR
  • Provide shared services where needed as a member of the BTS Communications team (e.g., event support, content development)

Qualifications

Experience that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required:

  • Bachelor's with + 2 years experience or Masters with 0+ years experience in Communications, English, Marketing or related field of study
  • Creating, developing and executing targeted communications campaigns/programs
  • Managing multiple complex projects to deadline and collaborating with crossfunctional teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

Beneficial:

  • Partnering with communicators/creatives, vendors, senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels
  • Graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere)
  • Microsoft 365, design and content management skills
  • Project management experience in a tool such as Asana
  • Experience in Information Technology and/or Healthcare
