You will serve customers with the consistency and quality food that they expect from our establishment. You will work as a team to create a memorable dining experience for all of our members and their guests.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Know and understand every item on the menu (including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules); Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served

Work closely with the Chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate

Timing is everything; work on timing to get every ticket out in an appropriate amount of time

During prime service hours, stay focused on designated tasks. Communicate consistently with co-workers

When your station is ready for service, see who else may need help with prepping and getting ready

Keep your work station clean and stocked

Practice safe knife handling; if training is needed, see the Chef

Assist in putting away deliveries when help is needed

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Always look for ways to be productive when there is time to spare

Open/close the kitchen properly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen. Do not leave until a manager has checked your station over..

Requirements **WHAT WE NEED**

**Experience and/or Training -** At least one year of Kitchen experience preferred but not required, basic math skills required, must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer, legible handwriting, and strong customer service and oral communication skills.

**PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift, carry, and deliver boxes and items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. If over 18, you will be required to use slicers and heavy equipment. The environment can sometimes be hot and demanding. Smoothly navigate dining room, kitchen and other facility areas, attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Protective Clothing Required: Non-slip shoes

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

This position is indoors and seasonally outdoors. The work environment can be noisy, demanding and fast paced; there is a great deal of contact with the public.
