Role Definition: The primary role of the Area Sales Manager (ASM) is to consistently grow the business profitably by signing new dealers, getting them producing quickly, increasing application and contract growth month over month, and retaining the existing dealer base in their Market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Build and develop a new market in the franchise and independent auto lending space, focusing on quality and high-volume contract production.
  • Market Research: Utilize provided tools for targeted engagement with independent and franchise dealers, facilitating their onboarding with Car Capital.
  • Technology and Data Utilization: Leverage data and technology to enhance dealer value through digital platforms.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with team members, thinking creatively to solve problems and optimize processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain awareness and adherence to regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the auto finance industry.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure superior dealer experience through professional and quality customer service.


Requirements:

  • Education: BA or BS degree
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in auto lending services or dealer finance. Proven track record in launching and managing lenders in dealerships.
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive dealership operations
  • Excellent dealership relationships
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook and Excel).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills; adept at using data for informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of fintech products, technologies, and trends in the auto sector.
  • Experience with agile product development and cross-functional team collaboration.
