This is not an entry level position. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years work experience in large shop or dealership setting including previous management experience. Required schedule will include evenings and weekends.

In the Business Development Manager role, you will:
  • Manage Service Receptionist (SRs) by creating and maintaining a professional, efficient, consistent and positive work environment.
  • Actively listen to and work through issues with employees in a positive and helpful manner.
  • Make decisions on processes and policies that can be carried out by, or to all employees.
  • Create, maintain, monitor and act on phone reports measuring SRs and dealership performance on a daily basis.
  • Measure accuracy of SRs tasks and work time on a weekly basis.
  • Respond to inbound calls and make outbound calls to prospective customers (40-50 outbound calls per day expected, 50-70 calls per day total).
  • Monitor and update SR resources on a weekly basis to ensure SRs task success.
  • Meet with all new SRs explaining processes and policies vital to department and introduce to the rest of the staff.
  • Maintain a professional and positive work relationship with dealership department and general managers, and work to resolve issues in processes timely.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Successful candidate will have the ability to motivate staff and assist with all department processes. A valid driver license and acceptable driving record is required.

Working conditions are primarily indoors spending up to full work shift working on PC, standing and/or walking for short distances throughout work shift, and frequent use of telephone.
