Responsibilities

* Provide system quality control support by conducting inspections and testing on electrical components.
* Support team members in their roles as a program focal point for quality assurance, acting as a liaison with other functional departments.
* Develop a thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule as they relate to his/her specific assignment.
* Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.
* Assist with identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issue.
* Provide system quality control support by conducting inspections and testing on electrical components.

* Develop a thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule as they relate to his/her specific assignment.

* Assist with identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issues.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
* Understands and effectively communicates electrical concepts.

Qualifications

* Self-starter with exceptional organization and interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of the specific trade of discipline as assigned, with associated special processes, inspection and testing techniques
* Working knowledge of construction industry codes relating to area of expertise (i.e. ACI, AWS, ASME, NEC, etc.)
* Associate degree in engineering technology or science plus two years' experience in a related construction field (at least one of these years in a QA/QC position) or a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) plus four years' experience in a related construction field (at least two of these years in a QA/QC position)
