Internship Overview:
Each intern is presented with a real business challenge within their group that provides the opportunity to exchange ideas with subject matter experts for optimal learning and development that leads to real solutions.
Your Role:
* As a Immigration & Relocation Intern, you will help assist the Legal/Immigration team with a variety of projects. (This position will sit at the Dallas,TX Corporate office.)
* The Immigration Intern will assist corporate immigration staff and work one-on-one with employees seeking nonimmigrant visa sponsorship, adjustment of status (green cards), United States citizenship, and other immigration benefits. This position may be of particular interest to law students or those pursuing other immigration-related fields, although a legal background or previous immigration experience is not a requirement. This internship is a great opportunity to gain professional experience in a multi-cultural/national corporate organization
Project Details:
* Research & compile resource guide for key stakeholders as it relates to the immigration process.
* Analyze data on immigration trends within the organization and create a report with recommendations.
* Assist with case management by gathering beneficiary's information and preparing documents (under supervision).
Job Duties:
* Conduct initial screenings to assess eligibility for immigration benefits.
* Assist with gathering necessary documentation and evidence.
* Follow-up with employee on the status of their applications.
* Prepare presentations and reports on immigration topics.
* Maintain employee files and records.
* Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Enrolled in an accredited bachelors degree program
Currently a Junior or Senior
Position requires unrestricted work authorization in the United States; work/visa sponsorship for this position is not available.
Hours/Schedule:
Onsite Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
Internship dates: May 20th to Aug 16th 2024
Internship Expo date: August 7th, 2024, must be present for Expo
