Make a difference in a child's life

Do you love working with kids? Are you looking for flexible hours, paid training opportunities and to be part of a team that feels like a family, and where work-life-balance is a priority?

Join us at White Bear Lake School District as a summer programming paraprofessional. We are looking for superheroes with experience working with students with special needs. This paraprofessional will be paired with between 1 - 5 students with various behavioral and medical health needs.

A successful candidate performs intermediate human support work by supporting students with special needs individually and in small or larger groups. Responsibilities also include encouraging and modeling appropriate student conduct, speech, and attire.

Requirements:
  • AA/AS/BS Degree.
  • 1 year experience working with special needs children.

Benefits include;
  1. Competitive pay starting at $20.61.
  2. Flexible hours between 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Summer programming runs from June 7th to August 16th.
  3. Full and part-time positions available.
  4. On-the-job, paid training for first aid, CPR, child development, working with special needs children.
  5. Ongoing staff development.
  6. Strong team environment.
