Job Title: Caregiver

Summer Wood Alzheimer's Special Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mealtime, including serving and cleaning up
  • Participate in activities and events designed to stimulate residents' minds and bodies
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in English required
  • Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
  • First Aid and CPR certification required
