WHO YOU ARE

As a Payroll Specialist based in our Madison, WI facility, you will be assisting the Controller with biweekly payroll for 5 companies. Duties and responsibilities include processing payroll, maintaining time-keeping records, reviewing payroll and payroll reports for accuracy, and maintaining accurate set up and tax filings federally and in multiple states and jurisdictions.

YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Entering data into databases and spreadsheets
  • Handling direct deposit requests and data
  • Processing payroll
  • Entering new hire paperwork
  • Processing paper checks for distribution
  • Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll
  • Processing wage garnishments
  • Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commission

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent excel experience
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time
  • Strong organization and data entry skills
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
