Physical Rehabilitation Specialist

to join our

Our diverse array of specialized services includes Back Pain, Dry Needling, Foot and Ankle Care, Geriatrics, Head, Neck, and Facial Pain, Health and Fitness, Industrial Rehabilitation, Local School Sports, and Manual Therapy.

Responsibilities
• Assess patients and formulate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review physician referrals and patient medical records to determine necessary physical therapy treatments.
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers.
• Oversee patient care delivered by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.

• Complete written plans of care, set goals based on evaluations, and create comprehensive programs to achieve those goals.

• Implement physical therapy treatment programs and deliver essential physical therapy services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance representatives.
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
Requirements
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state license or ability to obtain licensure and CPR certification.
• Capable of developing and implementing outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation treatment plans.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.

• Proficient in basic PC skills, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, database software, and MS Office.
