Sodexo Universities is seeking an experienced Resident District Manager, for the Historic Howard University in Washington DC. This account is a showcase account for Sodexo, with exciting plans for many innovations coming to campus. If you have experience with successfully presenting to C-Suite Level Leadership, developing teams of more than 200 employees, and executing new concepts in campus dining, this position will be the perfect high-profile leadership opportunity

A strong emphasis will be placed on client and customer engagement, strengthening financial operations, and growing resident dining and retail. Supporting the campus mission, ensuring sustainable initiatives, and providing quality Resident Dining, Retail, and Catering. This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader to lead a talented team of professionals offering a benchmark student dining experience. Provide strategic insight and direction to foster innovation and increase student engagement.

The ideal candidate will:

* have five to seven consecutive years of food service experience in high-volume and multi-unit management.
* have a strong focus on food quality and presentation as well as high-end catering experience.
* have previous success managing a University Campus account.
* have strong leadership skills, computer skills, culinary knowledge, and food/beverage cost controls.
* be versed in culinary functions, food and labor cost control, food safety, and sanitation.
* be technically competent in unit financial management, pricing, and menu development and will be responsible for the training and development of front-line hourly employees and managers.

* superior interpersonal skills and can develop and maintain professional, positive working relationships with multiple clients, liaisons, customers, employees, supervisors, and vendors.
* strong communication skills and will be able to articulate ideas, thoughts, and opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of client and Sodexo's organizations.
* strong time management skills and will be able to juggle multiple priorities.
