Adena Lakeland -Class A CDL/Semi Driver

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class A CDL/Semi Driver to haul construction materials and equipment to and from various projects across Florida. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of equipment and materials essential to the construction process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy equipment and a strong commitment to safety.

Position Description

Summary: The Class A CDL/Semi Driver hauls construction material and equipment used in the construction process to and from various projects, both interstate and intrastate of Florida.

• Loads and unloads various types of heavy equipment using various trucks and trailer

• Hauls structural steel among other building material

• Operates in compliance with FMCSA safety standard

• Hauls permitted load

• Performs routine inspections on trucks and trailer

• Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment

• Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role

• Minimum of 5 years CDL experience

• Heavy equipment experience preferred

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean

• Must maintain Class A CDL and medical card

• Excellent communication skill

• Must possess good time management skill

• Must be self-motivated

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

• Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instruction

• Must be able to work different hours plus overtime as needed

• Must have clean MVR driving record for 3 years minimum
