Essential Job Functions
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Receive and process customer orders in accordance with company procedure.
- Using product knowledge, work with customers to ensure they are ordering the appropriate items for their business.
- Work with warehouse personnel to insure proper picking and delivery of product.
- Backup to warehouse for gathering paperwork.
- Assist in inputting inventory counts.
- Print warehouse tags for shelves and totes.
- Print customer price books as needed.
- Scan all invoices, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable paperwork into Laserfiche.
- Balance and report all A/R's to finance weekly and at month end.
- Backup to Pricing Specialist by verifying receiving documents.
- Keep customer order sheets updated with new products.
- Order office supplies and act as point of contact for office equipment repair needs.
- Complete clerical tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
- Work is performed under normal working conditions in a temperature-controlled environment.
- May sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
- May be required to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- This position is a full time role, averaging 30-40 hours/week.
Other Skills/Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, 10 Key and the Internet.
- Ability to work independently and be flexible with work schedules.
- Must possess the ability to learn new concepts, be organized and stay attentive to detail while multi-tasking.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
