Essential Job Functions
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Receive and process customer orders in accordance with company procedure.
  • Using product knowledge, work with customers to ensure they are ordering the appropriate items for their business.
  • Work with warehouse personnel to insure proper picking and delivery of product.
  • Backup to warehouse for gathering paperwork.
  • Assist in inputting inventory counts.
  • Print warehouse tags for shelves and totes.
  • Print customer price books as needed.
  • Scan all invoices, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable paperwork into Laserfiche.
  • Balance and report all A/R's to finance weekly and at month end.
  • Backup to Pricing Specialist by verifying receiving documents.
  • Keep customer order sheets updated with new products.
  • Order office supplies and act as point of contact for office equipment repair needs.
  • Complete clerical tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Work is performed under normal working conditions in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • May sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • This position is a full time role, averaging 30-40 hours/week.

Other Skills/Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, 10 Key and the Internet.
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible with work schedules.
  • Must possess the ability to learn new concepts, be organized and stay attentive to detail while multi-tasking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
