FRAML Administrative Assistant

Provides administrative support for the FRAML department within Operational Risk management reporting to the FRAML Operations Manager. FRAML consists of BSA/AML and Fraud. This position would provide support to each as needed in terms of special projects, day-to-day reporting efforts and communication on behalf of the teams.
Essential Functions:
* Serves as a resource for FRAML personnel, coordinates meetings, receives and responds to telephone inquiries, composes correspondence and monitors several inboxes.
* Manages and/or coordinates special projects as requested by the BSA Officer and department management.
* Oversees case rotation and scheduling of tasks as needed to ensure coverage is adequate for all required processes and staff.
* Completes BSA/AML and fraud assignments as scheduled and assigned by department management.
* Reports BSA/AML and fraud concerns to each team respectively.
* Performs compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned.
* Assists with SharePoint site administration.
* Make travel and accommodation arrangements with consideration of schedules, expenses, and efficiency.
* Assists with audit and exam requests at the direction of the BSA officer and department management.
* Processes interoffice mail, incoming and outgoing as needed.
* Manages department supply orders both internal and external with consideration of department budget and needs.
* Supports department management with onboarding new staff in terms of security and equipment needs.
* Maintains records and generates reports; utilizes word processing, spreadsheet, database and other software as required.
* Maintains department procedures; completes updates as requested.
* Regular, reliable attendance is required.
Qualifications:
* Strong proficiency in keyboarding, word processing, using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and database management.
* Some understanding of BSA/AML/OFAC, fraud, and bank regulations preferred.
* Proficiency in conducting Internet research, analysis and assumptions, preparing reports, and correspondence.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Strong emphasis on professionalism, confidentiality, interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, and the ability to remain flexible and cooperative in an environment of shifting priorities and varying responsibilities.
* Must maintain professionalism while handling difficult and stressful situations.
* Knowledge of WTB policies and procedures, banking products and services
Compensation: $16.17 - $24.25 per hour
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, Washington. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is eligible to participate in an applicable annual bonus plan.
