Job Overview

WJM Professional Services LLC is a leading provider of medical, nursing, and ancillary professionals to the Department of Defense and other government agencies. We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Spokane, WA.

About the Job

The successful candidate will provide support in the clinic or scheduling department at Fairchild AFB. The role involves assisting with patient check-in/out, verifying documents, and performing administrative tasks such as scheduling, medical records maintenance, and answering telephone calls.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient check-in and verify documents for correct information
  • Provide overall support to the facility including administrative support, scheduling, medical records maintenance, and answering telephone calls
  • Receives, locates, and stores medical records
  • Prints diagnostic reports
  • Assists in routing patient charts for review
  • Attaches required supplementary documentation to patient files
  • Performs end-of-day Computer-based Patient Record processing
Requirements
  • Knowledge of general medical ethics, health records administration, and telephone etiquette
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Possess a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • At least one year of experience performing administrative duties
  • Possess CPR certification or be willing to obtain it
