Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR)

Location: Guardian Angels Care Center - Elk River, MN

The Nursing Assistant Registered is responsible for providing respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to the resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.

Mission: Guardian Angels provides exceptional healthcare, housing and supportive services to seniors and their families in the spirit of Christ's love

Schedule:
  • Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.

Job Duties:
  • Provide dignified, respectful, resident-centered care for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • To accurately document cares provided, resident observations.
  • Assist resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
  • To provide a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
  • Follow universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation, and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
  • Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure as related to HIPPA.
  • All duties performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota NA/R registry.
  • Prior experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
