**Mercy Medical Center** a member of Trinity Health of New England is looking for a **Data Entry Assistant** to come join our team of highly specialized integrated behavioral health professionals.

The **Data Entry Assistant** is a member of the Behavioral Health team and completes the collection of necessary data to comply with Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) funding.

**What will you do:**

+ Accurately tracks data regarding interventions and services provided. ​

+ verify insurance, track delivery of services and other relevant data points.

+ Answers the phone to address patient or client inquiries,

+ provides excellent customer service.

+ Performs a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ **Education:** high school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter including science and simple medical procedures or terminology.

+ Previous medical office experience preferred.

+ Requires the analytical ability to gather and interpret data in situations where the information or problems are not overly difficult or complex.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required. Ability to identify and assess problems and develop and implement solutions in a non-confrontational manner is essential.

+ Requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain Health System policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.
