Salary: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Currently Hiring for: 3pm -10pm CT (Tuesday - Friday) 4pm – 9pm (Saturday)
Must work a Saturday shift
Offering flexible schedules: 3, 4, or 5 days a week schedule. Available shifts 4, 5 or 6 hours
American Directions Research Group is hiring part-time Market Research interviewers. As a Survey Researcher you'll call households all across the United States to gather their opinions on important issues that are taking place in their areas. In this role, you will conduct phone surveys, accurately record responses and complete the surveys. This position is 100% outbound calling. Job Description:
- Deliver scripted multiple-choice questions over the telephone and accurately record responses often using a computer-aided telephone interviewing (CATI) system. We will train you on delivering the script and how to enter the responses.
- During each survey interview, we'll ask you to positively engage with members of the public and remain neutral and unbiased regarding their responses.
- Continue to build skills by learning from colleagues and your supervisors who are there to support your progress and project goals. Our goal is to develop highly trained and motivated team members who can enjoy dynamic and rewarding work experience.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 6 months previous call center, customer service or collections experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience collecting and recording data from the public.
Professional Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills - outgoing, friendly, and pleasantly persistent phone demeanor. Must be able to enunciate clearly.
- Ability to positively engage with members of the public and remain neutral and unbiased during the phone interview.
- You will need to actively listen to a respondent and record verbatim responses at the same time.
- You must be able to pass both a reading and pronunciation test
- Task-oriented and focus driven
- Basic computer skills for operating the survey software
- Ability to be flexible in a work schedule and to work limited overtime as necessary required.
- Basic computer skills including keyboard skills and accurate data entry.
- Must meet standard performance metrics.
- The ability to work independently and to multi-task
- Positive and “can-do” attitude.
