Shift/s Available for this Position:

Day shift (Monday through Friday) 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Source and request to purchase a variety of parts, tools and materials for facility and equipment maintenance.
* Coordinate and maintain the approval procedure for different spare part lists related to both new and existing manufacturing equipment (Scoring System).
* Submit setup applications to add items to inventory management system. Collaborate with Central Stores, Maintenance, Procurement, and Engineering to reduce equipment downtime and minimize Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
* Coordinate with Central Stores, Procurement and Maintenance to ensure timely availability of spare parts (line down)
* Monitor maintenance procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
* Develop comprehensive list of manufacturers with corresponding vendors.
* Create references/guides relating to spare parts for Maintenance.
* Co-manage spare setup request system with Central Stores Coordinator.
* Research and recommend new suppliers that improve maintenance part sourcing.
* Practices 5S and Plan/Do/Check/Act cycle.
* Supports TS16949 and ISO 14000 audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school diploma required.
* Some college experience or associate degree/certificate preferred.
* 2 years' experience minimum, in manufacturing/automotive field preferred.
* Experience with inventory management/purchasing preferred.
* Excellent data management skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to compile complex information into a concise manner.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment components.
* Must be proficient in MS Excel (use formulas, create charts/pivot tables, etc.)
* ERP and CMMS software experience is preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to sit or stand and move about the facility. Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 35 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Combination of office and plant environment. Required to wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
