Maintenance Planner

At ITEC, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems.
Job Summary:The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruption to production. This role requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed job plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Schedule maintenance work to minimize downtime and disruption to production.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to plan maintenance activities around production schedules.
- Ensure the availability of necessary materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Work with procurement to source and order materials as needed.
- Create, prioritize, and manage work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Track the progress and completion of work orders, ensuring timely execution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work order details, labor hours, and materials used.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques to identify and address potential issues before they cause equipment failures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and refine maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, including metrics such as downtime, work order completion rates, and maintenance costs.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of equipment history, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems.
- Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of transformer manufacturing, including coil winding, mechanical and electrical assembly, vacuum pumping systems, and electrical testing.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Associate's degree or high level of proven experience may be an acceptable substitute.
- 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance department experience.
- Computer skills, including experience with MS Office products, basic ERP system understanding, and working knowledge of various equipment and tools.
