Job Summary:

We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician (On-Call) to join our team in Rhode Island. The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for various events, meetings, and conferences.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in audio visual technology is a plus
* Proven experience working with audio visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, and lighting systems
* Knowledge of different audio and video connectors, cables, and signal flow
* Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve audio visual equipment issues
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
* Flexibility to work on-call and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

* Set up, test, operate, and troubleshoot audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, and conferences
* Ensure all equipment is in working order and set up according to specifications
* Assist presenters and speakers with operating microphones, projectors, and other audio visual equipment
* Monitor audio levels and adjust sound as needed during events
* Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during events
* Maintain and clean audio visual equipment after each use
* Keep inventory of audio visual equipment and report any maintenance needs
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and event attendees
