Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location(s): Ankeny, IA

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team located in Ankeny, IA.
  • The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive and professional administrative support to local Management and Staff personnel.
  • Providing accurate and timely customer support, reconciliation and resolution will be a key function of the Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities: (1st shift)
  • Answers Facility phone and processes telephone calls effectively.
  • Data entry unique to production plants.
  • Point of contract for various administrative and process needs.
  • Interacts with staff by answering incoming calls, emails and addressing requests.
  • Coordinates meetings as necessary to the job.
  • Uses business software systems to retrieve information ( Pims, SAP, Microsoft & TLIMS).
  • Answers mail and inquiries; follows up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out.
  • Completes both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments.
  • Other admin duties as assigned.

Qualification / Experience:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high professionalism.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Minimum 2+ years Administrative Support is preferred.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication.
  • H.S. Degree is required.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Ability to lift or maneuver supply boxes up to 50 lbs. using handcart.
  • Scheduled 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with occasional requirement for additional hours outside routine schedule.
