We are positioned to meet the high production volumes of our customers with added capacity for growth.

Summary:

Under close supervision, the accounting intern will support accounting staff, and primarily perform routine clerical data entry tasks involving accounting data within the assigned segment of accounting (general accounting, cost accounting, internal audit, accounts payable, billing, and receivables).

Essential Responsibilities:

* Review and verify data received for completeness and accuracy and notify the supervisor of discrepancies
* Prepare various documents for data entry for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable
* Maintains and distributes accounting reports as directed
* Assist with processing and generating monthly financials
* Assist in month-end closing processing receivables
* Process and maintain vendor inquiries and enter data into Epicor
* Assist with monthly revenue reconciliations
* Assist with mail distribution, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks as needed
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Requirements:

* High School Diploma/GED; or equivalent combination of education
* Prefer a college student majoring in accounting, finance, or business administration
* Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
* Analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
