Executive Assistant to the President

Huntington University has an opening for Executive Assistant to the President. The Administrative Assistant to the President provides administrative support to the President.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ, a desire to serve others, and a commitment to the mission of Huntington University.
* High degree of proficiency in office procedures, computer hardware and software (Microsoft Office).
* A high level of organizational ability.
* Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficient in typing, dictation, proofreading, telephone, filing and other clerical skills.
* Commitment to confidentiality.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain the President's calendar and tickler file
* Coordinate all travel arrangements for the President
* Organize special events and meetings related to the President's Office.
(e.g. President's receptions and VIP entertainment)
* Coordinate arrangements for all Board activities
* Semi-annual Board meetings
* Trustee retreat
* New Trustee orientation
* Board committee meetings
* Serve as receptionist in President's Office
* Manage the President's Office budget
* Serve on the Commencement Planning Team
* Maintain records of the Board of Trustees
* Create and distribute Board agenda, reports, directory, and correspondence
* Coordinate and plan the Visiting Executive Seminars
* Coordinate the Ag Advisory Council meetings
* Supervise the student workers in the President's Office
* Provide general secretarial/clerical support for the President's Office
(filing, typing, contact reporting, etc.)
* Other duties as assigned by the University President

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position.
