This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has the ability to execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving accounting environment. Candidate should remain open to new projects and/or responsibilities as the business evolves.

Work Model:

Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and oversee the revenue recognition process in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Coordinate the implementation of new launches (Regions/Products) as they interface with AR
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis related to revenue streams, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
* Manage a team of revenue accountants, providing guidance and support in executing revenue recognition processes.
* Continuously work to identify and implement areas of improvement, automate workflows, developing processes and documentation for how to achieve these.
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports, focusing on revenue-related disclosures
* Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies related to revenue recognition.
* Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, commercial, and various business owners on a variety of project.
* Interface with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition.
* Review customer contracts and agreements to assess the appropriate revenue recognition treatment.
* Review and assess revenue recognition implications of licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, and partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Review and analyze gross to net reserves.
* Ensure compliance with government pricing regulations and programs, such as Medicaid Best Price, 340B, Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), and other state and federal pricing initiatives.
* Analyze sales and pricing data to calculate and report government pricing metrics accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirement.
* Lead critical accounting projects, including the implementation of new system logics or enhancements and new revenue standards.
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports, focusing on revenue-related disclosures.

Requirements:

* At least seven years of experience in revenue accounting, with a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, preferably in a managerial role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and develop the revenue accounting team.
* Previous experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm.
* Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Word
* Ability to analyse data and identify significant trends
* Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure
