Provider Schedule Coordinator - General and Specialty Cardiology

Cardiac Study Center/ Pulse Heart Institute, Spokane, WA

The Company

Since its creation, Cardiac Study Center (CSC) has contracted with Pulse Heart Institute for outpatient cardiology and billing services. CSC is a proud partner of Pulse, and has provided outpatient cardiology services in the Puget Sound Region for over 50 years. CSC partnered with MultiCare Health System to create Pulse Heart Institute in 2016 to work toward improving the health of cardiac patients.

Pulse offers a variety of career opportunities throughout our clinic locations. If you're interested, we may have positions open in our other sub-specialties (Heart Failure, Vascular, Electrophysiology & Device, or Nuclear Imaging)

Environment and Shift details:

This full-time position offers a regular Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring your weekends and holidays are your own.

Provider Schedule Coordinator Qualifications:

* Proven experience in scheduling, healthcare administration, or related fields.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in healthcare management systems and Microsoft Office.

Provider Schedule Coordinator Position Summary

As a Provider Schedule Coordinator at Cardiac Study Center/Pulse Heart Institute, you'll be the linchpin in managing and optimizing our providers' schedules, ensuring seamless patient care. Your role involves creating and adjusting provider templates, managing the call schedule, and serving as the main communication hub for all scheduling matters, contributing significantly to the operational excellence of our cardiology services.

Provider Schedule Coordinator Responsibilities

* Responsible for building, monitoring and adjusting daily and weekly provider schedules.Main point of contact and source of communication regarding provider schedule.
* Responsible for assigning Hospital Call Schedule annually.
* Responsible for reporting the Hospital Call schedule to the various hospitals monthly,monitoring it daily for changes, and updating as needed.
* Responsible for assigning all providers daily office and procedure schedules, opening andcanceling schedules as needed.
* Process provider time off needs and adjust schedule if necessary.
* Create all provider and non-provider daily patient templates.
* Assign and monitor all tasks in the scheduling system to include hospital, office and non-office duties.
* Work with managers to schedule meetings for the Physicians.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

Cardiac Study Center/ Pulse Heart Institute provides a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As various pay transparency laws require, CSC/ PHI shares a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $18.38 and the pay scale is $18.38 - $26.97 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
