Accounts Receivable Coordinator

SUMMARY: Processes routine Accounts Receivable transactions and completes other accounting tasks as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Post daily cash receipts
* Reconcile daily cash receipts per bank to cash postings
* Calculate and bill monthly interest on customer past dues
* Regularly review unapplied cash and ensure timely posting of cash
* Regular review of AR aging to clean up credits/small balances
* Assist in pulling documentation for audit requests, as necessary
* Schedule and lead monthly meetings to go over the status of accounts receivable aging with senior management
* Assist credit department in the preparation of credit limit renewal applications
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
* This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree and/or 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work independently
* Organized and detail oriented
* Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
* Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
* Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
* Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota
* Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner
