Schedule
Flexible scheduling, working Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-6:00 pm

What You'll Do
Coordination and Delivery of Care
Develop and maintain plan of care that outlines child’s health needs and therapy goals. Ensure plan of care is reviewed by child’s physician in a timely manner and prior to admission.
Ensure implementation of child’s care plan and coordinates care with interdisciplinary team to ensure health and safety needs are addressed. Monitor child’s response to care intervention.
Consistently maintain accurate, complete, and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures and provide feedback to leadership on how the documentation system can be improved.
Facilitate updates with family and care team members to discuss plan of care components and to obtain necessary signatures per regulatory guidelines.
Provide full range of skilled nursing services as defined within nursing scope of practice, physician’s orders, and Child Serve policies that may include: daily assessments, administration of medications, feedings, and treatments using evidence-based standards of practice
Staff Supervision
Participate in the recruitment/hiring process for nurses.
Assure properly trained and appropriate nurse staffing is available to meet the needs of the assigned services.
Provide performance management oversight for nursing staff.
What You'll Need
Current RN licensure to practice in the state of Iowa, BSN preferred.
Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
2 years of experience working with children or with individuals with disabilities preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Must be able to pass a ChildServe physical examination at commencement of employment and thereafter as regulations require.
Lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
Ability to accept and initiate change, have patience and understanding, and work within a team environment.
