Lead Veterinary Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinary Technician to join our team at Westfield Veterinary Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of veterinary technicians to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of veterinary support staff.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other hospital staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician, with a strong background in leadership and team management.
  • Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT) is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, clients, and other hospital staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
