Responsibilities 
  • Enter and update new grocery items and vendors, including costs, descriptions, class changes, and item status for inventory management and promotions 
  • Collaborate with distributors, wholesalers, and category managers to create authorized item order guides for stores, organized by planogram 
  • Implement pricing strategies developed with the retail and operations teams, ensuring compliance with directives, contracts, and policies 
  • Maintain a support portal for store issues, such as non-scanning items or incorrect retails, and make necessary corrections  
  • Work with category managers and vendors to ensure timely receipt of vendor information in a standard format, and assist with physical inventory preparation 
Qualifications 
  • Accounting background and warehouse experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of price book experience in the retail industry with exposure to a retail category structure and retail reporting needs
  • Experience receiving using a data system, inventory and shipping preferred
  • Must possess basic math skills and high proficiency in Excel and NetSuite ERP
Physical Requirements 
  • Majority of work is performed stationary, seated at a desk, with some bending, reaching, standing, walking and possible use of stairs
  • Requires ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds as needed
  • Manual dexterity required to type on keyboard, file, grasp items and complete paperwork
  • Visual acuity necessary to perform work while using computer monitor
