The Director of Manufacturing - Analytics & Cheesemake plays a pivotal role in advancing this mission across our multi-site, 24/7 manufacturing facilities. This individual will oversee Sartori's cheesemake operations across two sites, managing a team of over 200 team members. They are responsible for crafting and executing the vision and strategy for integrating analytics into our manufacturing operations, driving a data-centric approach to achieve best-in-class performance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of cheesemake manufacturing professionals, embedding a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive the team's adoption of data-driven decision-making to achieve superior performance.Analytics Leadership: Serve as the organization's Subject Matter Expert on manufacturing analytics, including data systems, data integrity, and the development of data-driven action plans to enhance safety, quality, and productivity across operations.Strategy Development: Direct, plan, and coordinate the implementation of a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with company goals. Lead the adoption of analytics techniques to maximize operational efficiency and return on investment.Analytics Model Implementation: Define and oversee processes to implement analytics models. Collaborate closely with Information Systems to ensure robust data architecture and seamless integration of analytics into manufacturing processes.KPI and Dashboard Development: Lead the creation and implementation of management reporting dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and optimize manufacturing operations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Innovation Monitoring: Stay abreast of emerging trends and concepts in analytics. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's tools, processes, and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.Data-Driven Decision Making: Present complex data analysis insights to business partners in a clear, actionable narrative. Use analytical techniques to identify opportunities for optimizing yield and mass balance in cheesemake operations.Process Optimization Projects: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing production yield and minimizing waste, leveraging analytics to ensure these improvements do not compromise product quality.Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Ensure the execution of the company's safety, security, environmental, and quality programs, aligning them with regulatory standards and best practices in data-driven manufacturing.Capital Project Leadership: Provide leadership for cheesemake capital projects, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational excellence standards through the application of analytics.Budget Management: Oversee the cheesemake budget, ensuring proactive planning for continuous improvement through investments in equipment, team development, and analytics capabilities aligned with the strategic vision.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
