Do you bring a track record of Business Development & Sales activity into a Pharma or BioPharma customer base? How about a knowledge of Real-World Evidence and Clinical AI applications?
Join SOPHiA GENETICS as our new BioPharma Business Development Director you'll be responsible for building our BioPharma data partnerships throughout the US. This is a remote position based in the East Coast , but Boston or NY is highly preferred.

Your Mission:
Understands and helps shape the clinical questions of interest for BioPharma customers, developing tailored solutions for both R&D and Commercial needs.
Prospects, develops partnerships, and negotiates commercial contracts for BioPharma Data Solutions, including formulating pricing and sales strategies.
Contributes to shaping BioPharma Data Solutions by identifying new use cases and optimizing offerings in collaboration with the product and medical teams.

Requirements
Your Background:
This role supports our BioPharma Business unit (distinct from our diagnostic applications). Therefore, you must have 5+ years of consultative sales experience, specifically providing solutions to customers in the BioPharma or BioTech sectors
Must have experience providing RWD/RWE solutions to Pharma and BioTech companies
Exposure or knowledge of Data analytics, Clinical Trials or Market Access would be beneficial.
A strong entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to generate new leads and explore new projects, and the resilience to pursue company-wide opportunities
A success-orientated and solutions-focused mindset, that embraces team collaboration, change, growth and inclusion.
