The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
Mandatory Requirements Expert interpersonal skills and a demonstrated track record of managing high-performing teams or complex projects. You have the ability to develop partnerships and nurture relationships in- and out- side the IC. You are patient, level-headed, and cool under pressure, even when others might not see things your way. You demonstrate flexibility, sound judgement, and a sense of humor in your daily interactions.
Superior critical thinking skills, including a strong record of strategic thinking and planning, and demonstrated creativity and multidisciplinary approaches to problem solving and identifying a range of options to assess impacts, potential second-order consequences, and cross-Agency/cross-Intelligence Community issues. You have demonstrated strong analytic abilities required to evaluate programmatic data, resolve inconsistencies, and propose innovative solutions to challenging problems. You are able to translate complex customer and logistical requirements into sound solutions that advance mission objectives.
Superior ability to exercise independent judgement and model accountability for decisions on policy, budget, personnel, and CI/Security in response to changing guidance and unexpected obstacles.
Expert at working across bureaucratic stovepipes and overcoming administrative obstacles.
Expert problem-solving ability and proactively anticipating issues before they arise.
Superior organizational skills, including the ability to manage strategic and tactical projects, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrate strong initiative, follow through, and attention to detail. Nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
Expert oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to craft and brief clear and concise products that inform decision making, impact mission, and share best practices and provide workforce guidance.
Expert ability to conceptualize, organize, and draw inferences from incomplete data and present a compelling analysis of findings and issues; expert ability to identify, articulate, document, and mitigate knowledge gaps or alternative approaches.
COTR 1 certified or have the ability to obtain COTR certification. Must have a strong grasp of the IC's budget cycle including formulation, oversight, and execution of activities. You have experience accurately applying and interpreting IC policies and regulations.
Expert understanding of IC analytic outreach or foreign engagement capabilities, processes, policies, and goals.
Bachelor's degree.
Desired Requirements Strong commitment to personnel and branch development, including through a track record of mentoring and coaching. A willingness to effectively address employee skill deficiencies or performance shortcomings and take measurable steps to increase proficiency and productivity.
Experience with resource management, budget execution, knowledge management, and strategic planning processes.
Awareness of the ODNI's culture, organization, and procedures.
