We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Manager to lead our technical accounting efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. You will play a crucial role in shaping our accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, and supporting our financial reporting processes. Client Details Global beauty and wellness company. Description Oversee the implementation and compliance of accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instruments. Review and prepare technical accounting memos and documentation to support accounting decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for new transactions and business initiatives. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and addressing any technical accounting inquiries. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to reflect current standards and best practices. Provide training and support to finance and accounting staff on technical accounting matters. Monitor changes in accounting regulations and standards and assess their impact on the organization. Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required. 5 years of technical accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or large corporate environment. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and financial reporting requirements. Experience with complex accounting issues and transactions. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
