Our client is a private and independently-owned firm providing various financial services to family offices, foundations, non-profits and investement advisors. They are looking for a highly detail oriented and motivated staff accountant to join their team. This firm is a small group, that has a laid back culture, prioritizing their people.
What you will be doing:
- Tax Return Prep, assisting with individual, trust, entity, foundation yearly tax returns
- Tax Research - assisting with varying complexity of topics
- Bookkeeping - Preparing financial statements, P&L, Balance Sheet etc.
What you bring to the table:
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
- A strong work ethic (and willingness to work long hours during busy season).
- A flexible and solid teamwork mindset.
