- Performs receptionist duties for the office(s)
- Travels when necessary to meet the staffing needs of the five county areas in which we have offices.
- Performs general office and clerical functions
- Interacts with the public by phone or in-office contact
- Initiates the opening and closing of the office during business hours
- Assists in writing grants, as needed
- Assists with billing functions under the direction of the Billing Specialist
- Performs data entry
- Assists with the Development tasks and events including mailing lists, bulk mailings and event prep for fundraisers
- Assists the Human Resources Department as assigned
- Complies with the policies and procedures of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
- Complies with the Privacy Policies of Hospice of Huntington in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
- Represents and maintains the hospice and palliative care philosophy
- Performs other work duties as assigned
- Communicates with patients/residents/clients and family members providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude to families, visitors, patients/residents/clients and responds to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor
- Assist in scheduling as assigned
- Other job duties as assigned
- Office Setting/ Scheduling experience required
- Strong computer skills in excel, word, billing software
- Data entry experience, required
