Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage multiple residential projects, from design and estimating to execution, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences through transparency, quality, and integrity.

Our company specializes in custom roof systems, including shingle, tile, and metal roofs, often with complex designs such as valleys, flat sections, and multi-story components. This role requires turning aerial roof reports into detailed estimates, including labor and materials. You may also review builder plans, check elevations, and ensure all project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed estimates for residential roofing projects (shingle, tile, and metal)
  • Analyze blueprints, project plans, and requirement documents to gain a thorough understanding of each project
  • Identify factors that influence costs and maintain up-to-date material pricing
  • Generate and review job cost reports to ensure accuracy
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Conduct hand-off meetings with project managers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Present finalized estimates to management for approval
Requirements:
  • Experience with roofing projects in Florida
  • Proficiency with The Edge estimating software
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Familiarity with residential construction materials and cost estimation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
