Position Summary: To provide service & maintenance on residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

Work start and end time: 7:30am to 3:30pm, Rotating Nights & Weekends

Required Qualifications:
  • Personal tools required for a service technician position.
  • Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems.
  • Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
  • General knowledge of all HVAC low voltage systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customers as well as the company.
  • Understand and apply all codes.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license w/ insurable driving record. (No DUI’s within the past 5 years)
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience making repair and replacement decisions.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Acquire NATE certifications within 2 years of employment and keep status current.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility.
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
 
Qualifications desired:
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School.
  • NATE Certified.
  • 3 + years experience.
  • Excellent verbal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic personality. 
  • Well organized and able to work independently.
