Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
  • Provide accurate and efficient service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues, providing exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
