We are a General Engineering Contractor specializing in Grading, Underground Utilities, Private and Public Works. We have been in business for over 40 years with locations in Nevada, California and Colorado.

Looking for individuals who would like to join our team of experienced and professional employees looking to grow our operations in the Northern Nevada area. Most of our work consists of heavy civil site work including mass and finish grading, underground utilities, structural backfill, private and public works.

Highly qualified and experienced construction vehicle drivers with Class A CDL License wanted.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable
  • Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
  • Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor and/or trailer
  • Verify and complete required documentation and reports
  • Maintain accurate daily logs
  • Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures
  • May be required to perform chaining of vehicle tires
  • Load and unload freight as required
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills/Experience:

  • Class A CDL License Required
  • Construction Equipment Experience Required
  • 21 Years of Age
  • Good Work History
  • Clean Driving Record
  • 6 Months of Driving Experience Preferred
  • Not more than 1 chargeable/preventable accident in the previous 3 years
  • No serious offenses in the previous 5 years or pattern of unsafe practice

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions or in shop
  • Able to perform these duties on our second shift assignment.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to sit for extended period of time.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to North Reno area before starting work (Required)
