We are a growing mental and behavioral health company based in Arizona's East Valley that is currently looking for qualified individuals to join our growing team. We are looking to add new office locations in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Chandler, and Queen Creek. Lighthouse Psychiatry (and its affiliate nonprofit Lighthouse Wellhealth) is dedicated to providing a patient-centric and quality-focused experience. Through a personalized approach to care delivery, we offer a customized treatment solution specifically tailored to the needs and challenges of the individual. Our patients have the benefit of utilizing a diverse collection of services including psychiatric medication management, specialized counseling (trauma, individual, couples, family, group), advanced TMS, Spravato (nasal esketamine), IV ketamine, ADHD testing and treatment, pharmacogenetics testing and evaluation, and photobiomodulation. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and synergistic approach to patient care to maximize outcome and success. We approach patient care with the mindset that no two individuals are the same, hence no two treatment plan should be the same. Our nonprofit affiliate Lighthouse Wellhealth is dedicated to providing mental health services for kids at schools.

The Position:
We’re looking for a Front Desk/Administrative Support candidate to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

The "ideal" candidate will have the following qualities: friendly, personable, engaging, works well with others (true team player, disciplined, able to multi-task, fast learner, receptive to feedback, organized, proficient on medical/mental/behavioral verbiage, and able to deal with complex patient engagements. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while they are at Lighthouse.
The Pay (variable):
  • The pay rate is negotiable and based on past experience, adaptability, and official certification(s).

Requirements:
  • Experience working with mental/behavioral patients.
  • 2+ years experience working in a medical office. (Experience in psychiatry office preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience.
  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent, or relevant position.
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, etc.).
  • Proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • MA certification/training/experience preferred
  • Some colleges related to mental health preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Be courteous and tactful with patients, visitors, and the public.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Follow established office procedures.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details.
  • Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.
  • Visual and auditory dexterity.
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper, etc.)
  • Greet and welcome guests.
  • Answer questions and address complaints.
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
  • Receive letters, packages, etc., and distribute them.
  • Check, sort, and forward emails.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Keep updated records and files.
  • Take up other duties as assigned.
  • Assisting with medical office procedures as needed (training is provided).

The Location: 
  • Interview will take place at our Gilbert, AZ office.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel to other office locations.
