Summary:  Shipping/ Receiving LTO ensures that raw and finished goods, packages, and supplies are accurately handled and recorded. Shipping/ Receiving LTO must count all products and compare the actual count to the Bill of Ladings, Packing Slips, and Purchase/Sales orders and ensure work safety, food safety, and quality standards are maintained. The LTO must inform the Warehouse Manager of any discrepancies or potential safety hazards to products or environment.
 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned:
  • Pick orders accurately while recording the product used and placarding and securing the load for shipment.
  • Loading/Unloading trucks in a safe and precise manner according to the load plan and documenting the required information on the Shipping Trailer Inspection worksheet or the Incoming Inspection Sheet.
  • The production put away responsibilities.  Pull the finished product out of the production room record information on the Finished Goods Production Checklist and stretch wrap the pallet prior to putting it away.  Then put away the pallet in the designated location to facilitate product rotation.
  • Replenish materials for the operation as needed.
  • Conduct daily inventory and manage finished good count and age.
  • Must follow all safety guidelines and ensure a safe work environment.
  Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year in a production and/or warehouse environment is preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
  • The ability to operate a forklift.
 Education/Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Language Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as Bill of Ladings and customer Orders.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of vendors, customers, or employees of the organization.  Bi-lingual Spanish preferred Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and knowledge of weights and measure. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical and complex problems with the ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft suite; and various internet communication software as well as syndicated data understanding.   Equipment:
