Shipping and Receiving Manager is a HUGE part of our Direct-to-Customer on time delivery objectives, will make sure that all orders are picked and shipped accurately and in a timely manner. Accountable for planning and control of daily deliveries in the warehouse and will call also responsible for effective management and control of finished goods inventories.

Manages daily activities of shipping and receiving department. Provides leadership, direction and motivation to the team to successfully and effectively work to accomplish operational goals and ensure optimum performance. Provide exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities: Route Trucks daily. Run the daily Production meeting and effectively communicate to customer service. Communication with all Departments. Set a monthly goal for all product that we need to ship and achieve that goal.

Essential Functions

Maintain accurate system inventories to support CSR and Production. Notify all team members of low quantities so we have NO back orders or late product . Help with the pulling, orders and maintain a set time of all deliveries .

Have a “team” thinking attitude. Being organized will help in keeping the work area in a productive manner at all times.

Develop, implement, and maintain an effective outbound shipping schedule.

Coordinate and schedule shipping events that will make it possible for the driver to deliver on time before running out of driving hours.

Monitors warehouse performance towards set goals. Analyzes results & initiates appropriate action to achieve goals. ·

Be a self-starter and personable with all associates Possess a positive attitude every day

and work effectively as a team member.

Manage the accuracy of all finish product as well as physical inventory, of shipping material.·

Investigate shipping / receiving errors and adjustments to inventory to determine root cause. ·

Make sure all outbound loads are loaded properly to prevent damage during transit. Every Load must be inspected and checked and signed off by our Shipping Manager and the driver. ·

All Outbound loads as we load them must be checked, verified, plastic covered and tarped with proper tie down.

Maintain good quality records for all inbound and outbound transactions per documented processes , purchase order, or damaged shipments. Pay attention to detail and file transactions away properly. ·

Complete Cycle Counts as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy of all finish goods .

Communicate with Customer Service and all departments to maintain on time delivery.

Safety Functions

· Proactively promote a safety-first workplace. Basic organizations and make sure the areas are organized and clean every day.

· Wear the proper safety equipment. Use safety gear at all times & follows all safety regulations.

· Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment immediately.

· Conduct periodic meetings with assigned staff to communicate company policy, process changes, workloads, safety topics
