- Title: Payroll Coordinator.
- Client: Finger Lakes Health.
- Duration: Full Time.
- Location: 196 North St, Geneva, NY 14456.
- Work Mode: Onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Establish and maintain payroll data elements, including income, deduction codes, and general ledger coding.
- Complete all payroll software processing tasks, including running cycles, entering timecards, and updating checks.
- Act as lead payroll contact for system tests and upgrades, and electronically transmit federal and state taxes.
- Produce internal payroll reports and interface payroll data with the general ledger.
- Prepare payroll-related reports such as quarterly 941s, W-2 processing, and payroll account reconciliations.
- Define issues, create custom query reports, and analyze results to support management.
- Make initial pay practice assessments and review with the manager as required.
- Support internal and external audit requests and participate in the Human Resource Information System team.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year associate degree in business or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of computerized payroll experience with knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
- General accounting and software application knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Preferred experience with leadership roles and Ultipro.
