About this opportunity:We are seeking a driven and dynamic Integration Engineer to join our team at Ericsson. This is a highly technical and demanding role where a successful candidate will design tests based on engineering design specifications as part of a System & Maintenance Engineering organization. 

What you will do:
  • You will develop and execute test plans and test cases in a controlled laboratory setting.
  • You’ll work with peers, system vendors, network design engineers, and network operations technical personnel helping to develop and enhance telecommunication services as they interface with Advance Communication systems such as Network Server/Router Server (NSRS), Voice over IP (VoIP) and IP Contact Center (IPCC).
  • You will be responsible for test efforts of VoIP based platforms and its associated services to ensure the network infrastructure complies with corporate and industry standards to provide a successful evolution to the customer’s next generation Network. Through testing, you will ensure these services comply with and adhere to corporate and industry standards.
  • You will work on near real-time, highly available systems and protocols in the telecommunication domain like TDM (Time Duplex Multiplexing), VoIP, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), RTP (Real Time Protocol), DNS (Domain Name Servers) and SS7 (Signaling System 7), etc.
 

The skills you bring:

Must have
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Ribbon (former Sonus) Soft switch – EMS, SGX, PSX, DSI, SBC
  • Experience with Ribbon (former Genband) – CS2K, C20
  • Call processing testing experience with VoIP SIP, RTP, and DNS protocols and SS7 ANSI/ITU protocols
  • SIP Trunk configuration, route setup, tracing messages via different routes
  • Experience with Cloud Computing, OpenShift environment
  • Experience with Call processing testing with VoIP, SIP, RTP, and DNS protocols
  • Experience with SBC, Enterprise gateways, IP Trunking
  • Experience with setting up or managing firewall policies with Netscreen, MX960 or similar products
  • Experience with tracing packets through firewall, troubleshooting dropped packets issues
  • Experience with S/W upgrades, failover testing
  • Preparing Method of Procedures outlining detailed steps and handing off to support groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have customer management skills in a Managed Services environment setting

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
  • Exposure to vendor management
  • Exposure to security in the telecommunication domain
