Marketing and Sales Director

SUMMARYThe Marketing Director will represent Calvin Community in a professional manner in connection with the planning, preparation, and selling of Calvin Community Services. They are also responsible for building outside relationships with potential residents and family members and referral sources within the community and surrounding communities.
- Manages all information relating to the prospective resident/inquiry: communication with administration, communication with direct supervision and accurate documentation of all contacts in the Leads Tracker System.
- Interacts closely with Health Center Social Service Director and Director of Nursing to coordinate Health Center tours and admission paperwork.
- Works with the prospective resident, family members, and key influencers (physician, attorney, trust officer, as appropriate) to facilitate a timely and beneficial commitment to the community. This includes frequent personal contact with the prospective resident including but not limited to telephone calls, home or office visits, events, seminars, and tours as appropriate.
- Responsible for the professional handling of all incoming inquiries. Manages the sales process through first inquiry to receipt of deposit to move-in in relation to the representation, negotiation and promotion of the community to that individual.
- Meets all sales and move-in objectives as outlined in the marketing plan.
- Interacts with all related disciplines, assuring that apartments are properly prepared for move-in and keeping all pertinent parties apprised of move-in dates and possible adjustments. This includes name plates, pictures, welcome bags and equipment in room are in place for move in.
- Fully executes the sales, marketing, referral and advertising objectives and strategies as outlined in the annual marketing plan.
- Plans and arranges for open houses and events, publicity brochures and displays, soliciting the cooperation of community staff and residents in these efforts.
- In conjunction with the CEO/CFO plans public information programs and carries out such programs by working with all news media.
- Assumes responsibilities for personal work areas and maintaining areas in a presentable manner.
- Addresses civic organizations, businesses, and service organizations, representing the community in such activities.
- Stages model showroom furniture and supplies.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, Business Administration or related field required.
- Two years sales experience required
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particular within the industry preferred
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools including Microsoft Suite
