MDU Sales Director

As the MDU Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of the Bulk MDU sales team. You will oversee daily sales activities, lead weekly meetings, and manage major client interactions, to ensure that the sales strategy is executed effectively. Your partnership with the VP of Business Sales and Regional Sales Directors will be crucial in developing and implementing a strategic action plan focused on maximizing new Multi-Dwelling Unit opportunities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Sales Leadership: Oversee daily sales activities of the MDU sales team, lead weekly meetings, and manage major client interactions.
  • Strategy and Reporting: Produce sales reports, design sales strategies, and market/promote company products. Also, research and recommend marketing strategies to maximize revenue and growth in MDU markets.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead customer-focused product improvements, processes, and pricing while maintaining long-term relationships with stakeholders like property managers and tenants.
  • Legal and Compliance: Craft binding customer agreements in line with company values and policies.
  • Collaboration and Training: Partner with sales engineering to ensure accurate cost estimates, and develop training tactics for sales teams. Collaborate with data analysts to enhance reporting and provide feedback on sales plans.
  • Sales Planning: Assist in the development of sales plans to meet market goals, and partner with executives during budget processes. Also, ensure the recruitment and compliance of sales teams.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure that sales operations follow company policies, including managing Salesforce data, conducting sales reviews, and reporting on sales forecasts and performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales management experience in telecommunications or media sales.
  • Proven success as a head of sales, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing sales teams, particularly in the telecommunications industry.
  • Exceptional selling, recruiting, networking, and relationship-building skills, with a strong reputation in the market.
  • Ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence across all organizational levels, including executives and C-level management.
  • Working knowledge of IP solutions, including Direct Internet Access, Point-to-Point connectivity, routing/switching topologies, managed solutions, Wi-Fi deployment/support, and HPBX technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
