This role is ideal for individuals looking to break into the security industry and gain experience protecting high-profile events and clients. As part of our team, you will be responsible for supporting security operations during events by maintaining a strong, professional security presence and ensuring a safe environment. You will develop essential skills in incident response, access control, and client relations, with opportunities for growth within our organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Operations: Assist in managing security activities, including overseeing entry and exit points, monitoring secure areas, and maintaining a visible security presence during large-scale events.
  • Security Patrols and Sweeps: Perform regular security checks and patrols to identify and mitigate any potential threats.
  • Incident Response: Act swiftly in response to any security incidents, ensuring the safety of attendees and staff.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to event locations to ensure only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with event staff and senior security personnel, maintaining clear communication within the security team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in event security, general security, or a related field.
    • Experience working in crowded environments, such as events or public spaces, is a plus.
Certifications:
  • BSIS Guard Card (required).
  • Crowd Control Certification (preferred).
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification for Adult, Child and Infant (required).
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods and respond quickly to incidents.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with event staff, guests, and security personnel.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment, supporting other security staff and working closely with event organizers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Quick decision-making and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on maintaining safety and professionalism.
