About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our Technology Security Operations team at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our banking systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage cloud proxies for new workloads.
  • Own and manage ServiceNow workloads for cyber defense, including incidents, changes, tasks, and problem records.
  • Manage and keep documentation up to date.
  • Manage the execution of upgrades, enhancements, and requests.
  • Assist squads in delivering initiatives as needed.
  • Engage in maintenance and operational design activities as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cyber security infrastructure products (proxies, firewalls, endpoint security, and vulnerability management).
  • Experience installing, configuring, managing, troubleshooting, and patching Linux and Windows-based security tools.
  • A problem-solving mindset and ability to tackle complex problems using critical thinking, networking, skills, knowledge, and available data.
  • Risk awareness and ability to build sustainable solutions that protect customers, stakeholders, and the community.
  • Excellent soft skills and presentation, with a high standard of written and verbal communication.
  • A team player with the ability to recognize and value different perspectives and skills from colleagues.
  • Comfort with uncertainty and ability to effectively manage yourself through ambiguity and change.
